Club and Community
We began the 2025 season with thirty members, and during the year a further eight people joined the club. Today, the United Eagles Cycling Team has approximately thirty-five active members. The club continues to grow, maintaining its community character, where riding together goes hand in hand with a wide range of approaches, goals, and expectations.

Different Goals, One Place
The past year has demonstrated how broad cycling can be within a single team. Some riders regularly race and work for results, while others focus on long distances, endurance, route exploration, or individual plans. The club brings together individuals with very different motivations and approaches to cycling – from carefully planned training and sporting ambitions, through long-distance challenges, to riding focused on the route, location, and shared time. All these approaches work together, creating a cohesive and open cycling community.

Season Opening
The first joint highlight of the season was the Audax UECT in March, a minimum 200-kilometer ride from any starting point to a single destination – Buxton in the Peak District. This event emphasized independence, planning, and responsibility, leaving participants free to pursue their own goals. The “Heart for Flood Relief” campaign, combining sporting activity with real support for those in need, added an additional dimension to this event. As part of this initiative, Audax participants created the shape of a large heart on a map using GPS tracks.

Joint Rides and Events
In the following months, joint rides and events – including the Isle of Wight Randonnee, Garmin Ride Out, and RAFA Rides – highlighted the diversity of styles within the club. These included challenging rides at a sporty pace, as well as long days in the saddle focused on distance, route, and spending time together, often combining several of these elements. Each of these experiences had its place on the club’s calendar.

The Tour de France Bike Trip was one of the highlights of the season. Riding the same roads that the professional peloton would travel the following day held various meanings for the participants – from a sporting challenge, to achieving personal goals, to the opportunity to ride in a unique cycling environment.

For some club members, Mallorca 312 – one of the most demanding amateur events in Europe – was a significant test. Competing in this event meant confronting distance, logistics, and personal goals, and for the entire club, it served as a benchmark demonstrating different ways of tackling major challenges.

The Ultra Duch Puszczy (Ultra Spirit of the Forest) played a similar role, albeit in a completely different format. Over 560 kilometers of riding, night stages, and variable conditions made it a highly complex event, requiring long-term commitment and good resource management. The collaboration with the Black Horses ZTPL (ZTPL) was clearly visible, both on the course and in virtual activities, including participation in the ZRL league on Zwift.

On July 12th, the annual Eagles Rally took place. This time, the event was held in London. The shared ride led from Richmond Park through Esher and Cobham towards the Surrey Hills. The centrepiece of the route was the climb up Box Hill, one of the most recognizable landmarks in British cycling. The rally was a relaxed, shared ride, culminating in a social gathering at a Polish café where they could bond over their acquaintances.

Season End
Autumn brought a more relaxed conclusion to the year – from informal gatherings like Rysiek’s BBQ to the club’s Christmas Eve party in London – allowing for a reflection of the experiences of the past months and a perspective on them.

Looking towards 2026
Looking towards 2026, the club is planning further activities without the need to confine them to a rigid framework. Audax as a permanent opening event for the season, a possible rally in Wales, the maturing NC500 ride plan, and local meetings within the Eagles’ Nests (Orle Gniazda) program set the direction for further development.

Summary
The 2025 season confirmed that the United Eagles Cycling Team is a place for people with diverse goals, ambitions, and ways of experiencing cycling. Whether someone is racing for seconds, planning long distances, exploring routes, or achieving their own individual goals on the bike – here they can do it their way while being part of one community.
